Here comes the Heedless Norseman!
1November 6, 2012 by R.G. Morse
That’s right folks, the wait is nearly over! The book you’ve been breathlessly awaiting is almost ready for prime time.
The Heedless Norseman traces my Norwegian roots, following my exploits as I stagger through a prank and pratfall littered childhood (usually aided and ably abetted by my twin brother, Kjell), survive school, set the Royal Norwegian Air Force back several decades, then immigrate to Canada (some might unkindly suggest, “in the nick of time”).
The book then goes on to chronicle my move from Vancouver eastward, ending in a seemingly unending series of misadventures as I struggle to become a full-fledged, dyed-in-the-wool, signed-sealed-and-delivered farmer — much to the ongoing amusement of everyone who knows me (and many people who don’t), led by my saintly wife, Marion.
I’ll have a publication date, pricing information (for both the “real” book, and the ebook versions, for all you fancy-pants techno-wizards out there who prefer to do your reading on an iPad or Kindle these days), plus how to order your copies (you know: one for you, and lots more for everyone you know who needs a good laugh — that would be… everyone you know!) — ready to share with you soon.
In the meantime, if you’d like to reserve copies, or just partake in the thrill of corresponding with a real author, drop me an email, I’d love to hear from you.

Me and the first horse I ever bought, Spur. Spur has only one eye — the Italian farmer I bought him from explained that the horse, “donna looka so good!”

Will it be ready for Christmas?
