My first lesson was solo in the barn, while Marion was outside, grooming a horse.  Hoss told me that when riding, I had to become one with the horse. “It’s all in the hip movements,” he said, “sorta like standing up and making mad, passionate love to your wife against the barn wall!”  Visualization is everything in sports!
